VERMONT SEAL OF QUALITY
Sarah Montgomery designed the first Vermont Seal of Quality logo (top)
for the Vermont Department of Agriculture in 1980. As the program grew
and expanded the need for additional versions for different levels of qualification
was addressed with the Commissioner's Choice (bottom) logo which Sarah
designed in 1999.
The Seal of Quality is awarded to Vermont producers of quality
Vermont-produced agricultural products.
